20-th Anniversary of Koinobori Dojo. Moscow, November, 2011

Dear colleagues and friends!

The traditional international seminar led by S. Seki Shihan, 7th Dan, Aikido World Headquarters (AIKIKAI Hombu Dojo) took place from November 3 – 8 , 2011 in Moscow. The seminar was devoted to the 20th anniversary of Koinobori Dojo.

Koinobori Dojo received many letters of congratulations from people who care about our dojo, including those who took and continue to take an active part in its development. Greetings were sent by:

Shoji SEKI shihan has visited Koinobori Dojo at the first time in June of 1996 when Koinobori Dojo has celebrated its 5th anniversary. At that time only 50 people took part in the seminar including 20 members of Koinobori Dojo.

This year over 210 participants (including 140 members of Koinobori Dojo) gathered to attend the XVI seminar from 19 cities and towns of Russia (Moscow, Irkutsk, Rostov-on-Don, Saransk, Korolyov, Obninsk, Zelenograd, Domodedovo, Kaluga, Nizhny Novgorod, Kstovo, Sormovo, Puschino, Krasnodar, Mytishi, Pushino, Zheleznogorsk, Chelyabinsk, St.Petersburg), as well as from Lithuania (Vilnius), USA and Japan.

The seminar program included the main part 8 classes under direction of Shoji SEKI shihan, as well as 2 master classes for Koinobori Dojo members and the Dan examination.
The seminar was held in one of the largest judo dojos in Moscow – the New Shabolovka sports complex.


Perfect organization of the seminar by Koinobori Dojo has allowed all the participants of the seminar, including numerous guests, to enjoy and simply drown in ineffable sprit of joint practice.
